Catherine A. Walter
Prior to establishing her mediation practice, Catherine Walter served as a part-time U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of Kansas and as the federal court’s ADR Administrator. She also practiced law for over eleven years in Topeka, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in employment discrimination and other civil rights actions. Professional Activities She is a member of the Kansas Bar and is admitted to practice in Kansas state and federal courts and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She mediated numerous federal cases during her tenure with the court and serves on the panel for the Early Assessment Program for the Western District of Missouri and as a Pro Tem Administrative Law Judge for the Kansas Human Rights Commission. She is a frequent presenter at mediation seminars and workshops.
